These Booking Terms and Conditions are considered a part of our reservation agreement with you.

As our hotel guest, by reading and signing our hotel registration you are agreeing to abide by all of our terms and conditions.

The Booking Terms and Conditions are presented here to help promote the safety and enjoyment of all guests.
1 BOOKINGS
DEPO
All reservations must be guaranteed with a deposit of 100% of the total room rate plus any applicable taxes and additional charges for special requests.
CANCELLATION
Single Room Bookings
• Cancellation of bookings less than 72 hours prior to check-in date – No refund on the full room rate (except due to extreme weather or other events leading to the cancellation of shipping services which is beyond the control of the guest or Heritage Guest House)
• Cancellation of booking less than 7 days prior to check-in date, (but more than 72 hours) – 50% refund on full room rate
Multiple Room /Group Bookings
• Cancellation of bookings less than 7 days prior to check-in date – No refund on the full room rate (except due to extreme weather or other events leading to the cancellation of shipping services which is beyond the control of the guest or Heritage Guest House)
CHANGE OF BOOKING
Change of booking (not LPO or Groups)
• Change of booking date on request, subject to availability – is available at the owner’s discretion.
• Booking changes should be made prior to 72 hours before the check-in date.
• No refund of deposit.
• Deposit will be carried forward to the new booking date.
o Heritage Guest House is not responsible for weather conditions, personal emergencies, or schedule changes.

SPECIAL REQUESTS
• We are able to reconfigure bedding arrangements on request, subject to availability.
2 PAYMENT
• We accept Western Union, Travelers Cheques, Vodafone Mpaisa, Digicel Mycash, Cash payments in Fijian Dollars.
• For Guests coming from outside of Fiji, Vodafone Mpaisa payments can be made via Western Union
• We do not accept cheques. We do not provide check cashing services.
PAYMENT BY THIRD-PARTIES
• We must receive the debit notice if the payment is by bank transfer and process the approval for your reservations prior to the guest’s arrival.
3 CHECK-IN AND OUT
Check-in – 2 pm to 8 pm
Check out – 10.30 am
• Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability.
• All guests must show a valid photo identification and any vaccination status or negative test result for illness as required by local authorities on arrival.
• We require valid contact information from the guest making the reservations including first and last name, address, phone number, and signature. The names of all guests occupying the room must be registered.
• Check-in formalities must be completed prior to guest access to rooms or facilities.
• Please allow time for room inspection, return of keys, and check-out procedure prior to your departure. Key Deposit or Security Deposit refunds cannot be processed prior to the inspection of rooms.
4 EARLY DEPARTURE PRIOR TO RESERVED CHECK-OUT DATE
• Guests who check out of the hotel after 10.30 a.m. And prior to their scheduled departure date are subject to an early departure fee of one night, plus tax.
5 ROOM RATES
• Room rates are quoted in Fijian Dollars (FJD) on a per-room basis unless otherwise stated.
• Rates, as advertised on promotional material, are subject to change at any time and may increase or decrease at the hotel’s discretion.
6 BREAKFAST
Continental Breakfast is available on request as an optional extra
• Breakfast orders must be paid in full prior to breakfast service.
7 CONNECTING ROOM POLICY
• Please call the hotel directly to discuss available configurations.
8 DISCOUNTS
• Guests receive a five (5) percent discount on beverages purchased from Dutt's Store (on the premises).
9 QUIET HOURS
10:00 p.m. To 9 a.m.
10 VISITORS
• No visitors are permitted in the rooms.
11 ADDITIONAL BEDDING
• A limited number of beds are available upon request.
12 12.ROOM KEYS and KEY DEPOSIT.
• Key Deposit of $20 FJD may be charged at the discretion of the owner, and will be returned after Room inspection on check out being to the satisfaction of Heritage Guest House, including the return of keys.
13 HOUSEKEEPING AND ACCESS TO ROOMS
• Housekeeping is done daily between the hours of 10.30 am and 2 pm. Please ensure you allow access for Housekeeping during this time.
14 FRONT OFFICE DESK SERVICE
• Photocopies, scanning, and printing are provided for a fee subject to availability. Please tell us your needs and we can provide you with a quote.
15 BICYCLES
• Bicycles are not permitted in guest rooms. Front Desk staff will be happy to secure these items in our parking area. We assume no liability for theft, loss, and/or damage to any items stored by Heritage Guest House
16 PARKING AT OWN RISK
• Heritage Guest House has no parking facilities on the premises.
17 Wifi ACCESS
• Access to our Wifi is subject to availability for our registered international guests only and charges may apply.
18 DISRUPTIONS
• Heritage Guest House does not accept responsibility or liability for any inconvenience, loss, or disruption to guests for disruptions or outages of Water, Electricity, Mobile Phone or Internet providers, Transport or Shipping providers, whether planned or unplanned or caused by natural disaster.
19 EMERGENCY EVACUATION ORDERS
• In case of fire, extreme weather, or other emergencies, guests are required to follow evacuation orders from the owner and Local Authorities.
20 GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
• Heritage Guest House makes its best efforts to ensure that all the information that appears on its website including external links, is accurate. Heritage Guest House does not accept liability for any errors and/or omissions and reserves the right to change the information published at any time and without notice.
21 SAFETY OF CHILDREN
For safety reasons, children are not allowed on the premises without the prior express consent of the owner.
22 SMOKING and ALCOHOL
• Smoking tobacco, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vaping, incense, cooking with flames or flammable gases or liquids, and candle burning is not permitted inside the rooms.
• This policy is not intended to stop people from smoking, but to regulate where they smoke and how it affects others. Heritage Guest House provides some open spaces such as private terraces inside the complex. Please ask the owner for details.
• Heritage Guest House values the quiet enjoyment of all guests and does not encourage alcohol consumption that may lead to noise or disturbance of other guests. Should you wish to consume alcohol on the premises during your stay, please do so responsibly.
23 COLD /FROZEN STORAGE
• Heritage Guest House does not provide facilities for Freezer Storage of items
24 FIRE SAFETY POLICY
• The hotel is fully equipped with FIRE EXTINGUISHERS. Please check the location once entering the room. Fire Evacuation Plans are displayed throughout Heritage Guest House.
25 NO FLAMES, COMBUSTIBLES, OR FIREWORKS
• Preparation of food in guest rooms by any type of flammable or combustible cooking appliances (gas or flammable liquids) is prohibited. .
• For food and coffee, please always use only the appliances provided by Heritage Guest House.
26 RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE
Heritage Guest House may refuse service or evict a guest who:
• Refuses to abide by the standards or policies established by Heritage Guest House for the operation and management of our hotel.
27 LOST & FOUND
• Heritage Guest House assumes no liability for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings. If you discover that you have left behind something of value to you, please contact us and we will try to assist you in locating your lost item.
28 ILLNESS AND EPIDEMICS
• During epidemics, we are entitled to employ precautionary measures within our judgment or as required by local authorities.
29 INFESTATION
• If you bring, or cause any infestation into your room or onto our hotel premises, we may charge you for any expenses.
30 SECURITY DEPOSIT
• Heritage Guest House reserves the right to require a security deposit.
31 DAMAGE AND/OR THEFT OF HOTEL PROPERTY
• You are liable for any damage howsoever caused (whether by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act) to the room (s), hotel’s premises or property caused by you or any person in your party whether or not staying at the hotel during your stay.
32 DAMAGE
• Damage to rooms, fixtures, furnishings, and equipment will be charged at 120% of full and new replacement value plus any shipping and handling charges.
• Damage to carpets, mattresses, and linen will result in a charge for the special cleaning, repair, or replacement of the damaged article.
• Damage to plumbing services Sanitary pads, napkins, diapers, paper, food, or any other items must not be flushed in the toilets - damage caused by doing so may attract additional charges. Bins are provided for the disposal of waste and are emptied daily. Please ask for assistance if you have additional waste for disposal.
33 CHANGES OR MODIFICATIONS TO THE HOTEL POLICY/HOUSE RULES:
• Heritage Guest House reserves the right to amend, modify, change, cancel, vary, or add to these Hotel Policies/House Rules without prior notice. A copy of these Hotel Policies/House Rules is located on our website, in the Guest Room Notebook, and available from Front Desk staff upon request.
34 LIMIT OF LIABILITY FOR LOSS OR INJURY TO GUESTS’ PROPERTY - SECTION 15 OF HOTEL AND GUEST HOUSES ACT, FIJI 1973 (AMENDED 2006)
Section 15 of the Hotel and Guest Houses Act of Fiji 1973 (the Act) applies and is clearly displayed as per section 16 of the Act.
A manager is not liable to make good to any guest of his or hers, any loss of or injury to any property brought to the hotel to a greater amount than $120 unless the guest proves that –

The property was stolen, lost, or damaged through the default, neglect, or willful act of the manager or his or her employee or
-
The property was deposited by or on behalf of the guest expressly for safekeeping with the manager or with an employee of his or her authorized or appearing to be authorized for the purpose, and was, if so, required by the manager or that employee, in a container fastened or sealed by the depositor; or
-
At a time after the guest arrived at the hotel, either the property was offered for deposit as aforesaid, and the manager or his or her employee refused to receive it, or the guest wished to offer the property for deposit but, through the default of the manager or his or her employee, was unable to do so.
